A heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Thomas
for his inspiring leadership and support

The Malaysia-Japan Academic Association (MJAA) wishes to express its deepest appreciation to Mr. Thomas Mathew, former Chief Executive Officer of TalentCorp Malaysia, for his invaluable contribution, leadership, and unwavering support throughout our journey.

From the early days of MJAA’s establishment, Mr. Thomas has been a steadfast partner and a visionary supporter who believed in our mission to strengthen the bridge between Malaysia and Japan through education, research, and talent development. His guidance and collaboration through TalentCorp Malaysia played a pivotal role in nurturing what was once an emerging idea into a thriving platform that now connects academia, industry, and society.

Under his leadership, TalentCorp became one of MJAA’s strongest pillars of support, championing the Malaysia-Japan Visionaries Conference (MJVC) and MJAA Symposium, empowering countless individuals to contribute to sustainable, people-centered innovation.

Although Mr. Thomas has since embarked on a new chapter beyond TalentCorp, his legacy of purpose-driven leadership, humility, and nation-building spirit will continue to inspire us. We at MJAA remain committed to advancing his vision, to always address real-world challenges, cultivate talent, and contribute to practical solutions that benefit both nations.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Thomas and wish him continued success and blessings in all his future endeavors. We look forward to welcoming him again to Tokyo and to future MJAA events.

With gratitude and respect,
The Malaysia-Japan Academic Association (MJAA)
