Thank you for your interest in registering for the Malaysia-Japan Academic Association (MJAA)’s First Ever Symposium, held at the Malaysia Pavilion, World Expo Osaka 2025!
This year, in line with our theme: “Malaysia’s AI-Driven Sustainability: Discover the Future where Technology meets Environmental Stewardship,” we are proud to bring together leading experts from Japan and Malaysia to share insights on how digital transformation and AI can drive sustainable development across Asia.

* 09:00 – 09:45 : Registration @ Business Hall, Malaysia Pavilion
* 09:45 – 10:00 : Arrival of guests and participants
* 10:00 – 10:05 : Welcoming Speech by MJAA Symposium Chair
* 10:05 – 10:10 : Welcoming Speech by MJAA Founder & Director
* 10:10 – 12:45 : Session 1 – Science & Engineering
* 12:45 – 14:30 : Break
* 14:30 – 16:35 : Session 2 – Social Science & Economics
* 16:35 – 16:40 : Closing Speech by Counsellor, HRD, Embassy of Malaysia in Japan
Important Notes for Participants
* ⚠ Completing the registration form does not guarantee a seat in the event hall. Please wait for a confirmation email from the organisers.
* ⚠ Seats are limited and confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. If seating is full, standing space may be provided. A hybrid participation option is also under consideration—please stay tuned for updates.
* ⚠ All participants are required to arrange their own World Expo Osaka 2025 entry tickets.
* ⚠ Lunch will not be provided; please plan accordingly.

2. Due to limited seating, only successful applicants will receive a notification of successful registration. Otherwise, applicants will receive a livestreaming link to join our symposium online.
3. Purchase your tickets to enter the World Expo Osaka 2025
4. Enjoy our symposium on the 20th! (Be sure to arrive early for ample time for check-in.)
