Our visit to the University of Tokyo was one of the most meaningful moments of the ASUNA 4.0 program. We were warmly welcomed into an academic environment that values discipline, precision, and curiosity.
We began with welcoming remarks by Prof. Tanaka, followed by insightful talks from Dr. Teah and Mr. Imran from the Embassy, alongside sessions on the economic cycle, agriculture, and the Tanaka Laboratory, which gave us fresh knowledge and perspectives.
The campus tour highlighted how UoT balances tradition and innovation, with historic buildings standing next to modern labs filled with advanced technology.
We are especially grateful to Prof. Amy Poh Ai Ling for coordinating our visit, answering our messages, and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Your support made us feel welcomed and connected to the UoT community.
This visit was not only educational but inspiring, showing us what global research excellence looks like and reminding us that with effort and determination, students can achieve international standards.
