IPAS 2025
Call for Abstracts
The IPAS 2025 Conference will be held from October 31 to November 4, 2025, at the Hongo Campus, University of Tokyo, Japan. We warmly invite authors to submit papers for the IPAS 2025.
Conference theme: Inclusive Sustainability
- Social exclusion, economic inequality, and gender disparities limit access to resources and decision-making, particularly for marginalized communities. Bridging these gaps is crucial for building resilient and just societies.
- The IPAS 2025 conference provides a platform to explore inclusive policies and innovative strategies that address these inequalities and drive sustainable development. Discussions will focus on social, economic, and environmental solutions that empower all populations, especially the most vulnerable.
Submission Guidelines
- Abstracts must be in plain text and not exceed 300 words.
- Submission deadline: June 15, 2025.
- During submission, authors must select at least one relevant topic:
Energy, City, Behavior, Agri-Food, Health, Industry, Design, Transport, Buildings.

Attention
Participants are required to pay the registration fee according to their eligibility. The conference organizers reserve the right to request relevant proof and deny entry to those who fail to comply with the regulations. The conference welcomes the optional submission of full papers for authors whose abstracts have been accepted. Submitted papers will proceed to the conference proceedings stage. Only applicants who have completed full paper submissions and registration fee payment will be eligible for consideration for awards, including the Excellent Paper Award, Excellent Poster Award. However, applicants who have not submitted their full papers could be eligible for People’s Choice Poster Award.
IPAS 2025 supports and promotes diversity and inclusivity. To support more early-career female students from the Least Developed Countries (LDCs), as designated by the United Nations, IPAS 2025 has established the Sparking Travel Fund. Applicants must have submitted a full paper before application and must complete their application by sending an email to the conference office ([email protected]) before the deadline.
